Not the item pictured in the ad... bought this gift set for my dad and got crossed by Amazon. The add depicts a gift set but you only get the fixed blade and case. Also I was led to believe this was still made in the us but it's made in China, carrying pouch feels like some sort of plastic and not real or nice feeling synthetic. 1 star for bad add . Fixed blade quality is ok so it should be fine as a beater knife

Very good for skinning deer. Very good and sharp. Only thing the sheath strap is very short and very hard to snap.
