The sheath is great. But this knife is not the same quality high carbon 1095 USA made steel that the 158 OT used to be made of.... With that being said, it is a good cheap gut hook knife. If you want a good gut hook style skinning knife that is small, easy to process game with this is your knife. You just need to sharpen it frequently. Stay away from cutting hair and you'll be fine.

I was very pleased with this knife,it was more than I expected.I bought this knife for my grandson,Samuel Jacob Cook for his collection,he was very tickled with the knife. It has that it was made in China written on the box, but not on the knife.I do not care where it was made, the craftsmanship is as good as the ones made in the USA. Taylor knives took over Schrade, just as Browning had their guns made in China ,same good quality,the only difference, one has USA, the other China on it . I often wonder if the game knows what put them down, U.S.A or China. This knife was razor sharp out of the box,I liked it enough, I ordered me one also. Cut elk hide with it fairly easy.Gut hook was sharp knife wasn't, easy fix.
