Um, wow. Strdy, sharp and a v. good price. Outstanding.
This is a very cool knife, it's huge, the handle is amazingly large and fits my large hands well, usually I end up with a finger or two hanging off the end of the handle, not with this one.Often when I receive a blade this size I find imperfections or twisting/warping of the blade or uneven grinding/polishing, not this one, looks and feels like a master blade smith handled this one.Extremely sharp, again with such a large blade you tend to find imperfections in the bit (edge) of the knife, this one is perfect from one end to the other, I know the paper test with a blade isn't scientific but when you can cut a large sheet of 20 lb card stock paper down the middle and not have a snag anywhere along the blades edge, that's a good sharp blade indeed.Price, value and quality all in one and oh yeah, it's huge, learn to use it safely.
This knife is ridiculously gigantic. Bigger than I need it to be. It’s basically a huge butcher knife. It seems to be built pretty solid, and it’s plenty sharp. The fake stag handle looks very fake. It’s not a bad knife, it’s just too big.
Full tang for sure. Good quality. Son loves it.
You can count on quality well worth the price.
Saw this on a couple of YouTube videos where it was reviewed and tested and did well so I thought it would buy it and honestly I am impressed especially for the price. If you do not mind the stagline handles which are basically plastic but durable enough and the sheath which is nylon and not leather then this is a good large budget blade
I received my knife today and it was exactly as advertized. The blade was sharp enough to shave the hair off the backk of my hand with one swipe. Very impressed with the wuality for a knife under the $30.00 price point. Definitely a BIG knife but not unweildly it weighed in at almost 13 oz (12.8). Tip to Hilt it is 10", Hilt to pommel it is 5", iy has a sharp point and is very comfortable in the hand. I think that this will make a good camp knifr. While a leather sheath would have been nice this nylon sheath is well stiched and rivited, also it is sturdy, not a floppy nylon sheath that I was expecting. Overall very satisfied and would reccomend this item.Update:Although the sheath is okay I work with leather some and made my own leather sheath - If I get a chance I will add a picture.
The blade is blade itself is easily worth more than the cost of the knife, the plastic grips are kind of ugly but fit the hand well enough and are real simple to swap out for something hand made if you feel like it. Overall, it's a solid knife that will hold up to outright abuse and is cheep enough that you wont feel bad about it.
It’s nice… as advertised
Its a well made knife, sturdy, and intimidating. It passed my sharpness test( shaves the hair off your arms).
