  I've been wanting a Damascus knife for awhile and when this one became available I jumped on it. While the sheaf is just of an average quality the knife itself appears to be very well made. I could find no defects in it other than needing to be sharpened out of the box. It did take an edge well with minimal effort. The knife came with oil on the blade to prevent corrosion during shipping. The layering of the steel is beautiful and as long as you keep it oiled it should resist corrosion. I'm very happy with it.

  The knife itself is well made and very sturdy. It came wrapped and was oiled. The knife is so dull it won't cut paper so the first thing I need to do is put an edge on it. I am left-handed and even though the hand orientation says ambidextrous the sheath is only for right-handed people. The knife does not sit well in the sheath. To get the snap on the retention strap to snap you must push, not just put the knife in the sheath, until it won't go down any further. The sheath is sewn with thread instead of leather and I now realize that in the product pictures there are two different sheaths depicted and in one picture the knife has a hole through the upper part of the handle whereas in all the other pictures it has a solid rivet. I expect that the knife will last quite a while with proper care, but I am going to have a left-handed sheath made for it.

  This Damascus hunting knife has been beautifully crafted. The blade is strong and sharp. I really like the curvature of the handle; it fits my hand perfectly and feels comfortable in my hand. I can also get a great grip on it. This knife definitely looks and feels high quality. It comes with a nice leather sheath just adding to the beauty of this knife. This knife would be great gift for knife collectors, hunters, campers, or anyone who enjoys the outdoors. I am very pleased, and I think this is a really great value for the money.

  Damascus blades are always so well made, this has a big handle but is very light and fits my big hands well. It's pretty sharp and ready to go! In this case, I was a little disappointed because it seemed it was backward and I could not put it horizontally on my belt as I wanted to especially because of the big handle but overall this is an awesome knife. The design on the blade is beautiful and this will work very well for protection. I would recommend this to anyone!

  For the price, this is a decent knife. It measures and weighs just as described in the listing: full tang, Damascus steel, 10” length, 8 ounce weight. Appearance wise, it’s fine; I think it looks a little cheaper than it appears to look in the online photos; but, again, for the price, it’s okay. It feels sturdy and should function as it’s expected to.
