Just as good as an old timer had a nice leather sheath and I am very proud of this little knife shall use it in the years to come for the skin and deer it has a beautiful blade and handle and as I said you can't really tell it from an old timer knife great value for the money beautiful knife and sheath

I started collecting seven inch knives, "Sharpfingers," a few months ago. They all have the same basic profile, but there are many differences. The Maxam is the best in my collection, so far. The full-tang steel is nice and thick. The satin grind looks good. The handle is beefy, and the sheath is made of thick leather. Dress it up with a lanyard, and it's the one I'd wear to the fair.

I received my order. I own many other Bear and Son knives. Out of the box I immediately felt the blade for sharpness. It might of missed the inspection before packing. Wasn’t as sharp as I excepted. I sharpen the blade just a little. Now it’s great!
