Not as well made as they were when built in America. It does serve the job. I've lost this knife more times than I care to count over the last 4 decades but if you spend any time in the woods this is still the best design.

My girlfriend bought this for me and comes in the cheap clam shell packaging instead of a box. The Spey blade was loose and the clip blade was bent. Clip blade rubbing the liner and I could see the blade wanted to walk even further over when trying to open it. Sent it back and ordered another one. The second knife was worse than the first. Spey blade again was loose, the clip blade was bent again, and the frame of the handle/ liners were curved. Not straight at all. This might be the last old timer knife I look at.

I bought this for processing small game, and general pocketknife carry. Being stainless steel it will far better against the elements. I still love my older USA Old Timer, but this is a nice complement with larger blades. I am very happy with this knife. Finish is very good.

Knife is factory sharpened but one of the points needed a little work. These have always great knives!
